Chapter 1: A New Beginning

Ed is a character from the popular late '90s animated cartoon series, Ed, Edd, n' Eddy, created by Danny Antonucci. The series revolves around Ed and his two best friends, Edd and Eddy, and their misadventures in the small suburban town of Peach Creek. The show became a major hit and formed a massive fanbase. Unfortunately, the series is no longer running, the finale having aired in the form of a movie.

Ed is strong, powerful, and capable of many things. However, he is also lacking in intelligence and somewhat prone to non-sequitur statements. This allows Eddy to mislead Ed into his scams in an attempt to con the neighborhood kids out of their money.

Despite his inability to comprehend Eddy's intent most of the time, he is still good-natured and expresses a love for his baby sister (and a fear of her) and displays good will and joy to many of the kids in the cul-de-sac.

Ed is also into comic books, movies, and various other forms of media. His favorite foods include buttered toast, gravy, and he possesses a peculiar love of chickens.

His love of gravy is shown later on in the series to be more of an addiction, as he goes through extreme levels of withdrawal during a bet made by many of the kids of the Cul-de-Sac to refrain from their typical activities.

Role in RakenzarnEdit

Ed is one of the Nutsy Guild's members. He can be recruited alongside Edd and Eddy in Chapter 3. After completing at least two guild quests, talk to Eddy in the guild living room to have them join the party.

Ed is the first Mighty Glacier type that can be encountered in-game.

He has a very high physical defense and can attain a high magical defense if equipped right. He can also utilize Earth magic; however, it is not very powerful. He specializes in frontal spear attacks. His ability to dish out damage while tanking, coupled with how early in the game he can enter the party, makes him a valuable contribution.

Keep in mind, however, that he is not a good idea for magical encounters.
