Synopsis

Kyros meets Kite's friends at the Nutsy Guild where said guild has special guests - Mario, Sonic, Tails, and Luigi - visiting. The super stars don't know much about the mysterious book but they know someone who can. However, they're soon caught in a series of hijinks.

Kanata suggests that they should look for the super stars, Mario and Sonic, noting their many experiences with storybook related adventures. Their efforts to find them prove fruitless. Kyuu stumbles upon a rundown detective agency where he encounters a private detective and his genre-savvy teenage assistant.

Kyuu meets Kite's friends at the Nutsy Guild, but his efforts to find out more about the book from them prove fruitless. The three decide their best bet to find out more is to go to Bluelake Town's library and gather a team to make sure their trip is a safe one.

Trivia

• The title was originally called "A New Life," but was re-titled to fit the plot.
• In Version 1 of the game, this chapter had a much different set of events.
  • Kyuu still met with the guild, but that was the entirety of the chapter. He also fought with Piccolo, had his first use of Deduction Mode and a boss fight against ogres.
  • Sakura and Kanata were shown as already being guild members and Dark Magician Girl was interested in joining, with Goku taking in Kyuu at the end. By Version 3, only Kite, Noel and Kanon were guild members, DMG makes no mention of joining and Kyuu does not join at this point.
